Raise a Concern

Raising a concern about a BASRaT Registrant.

There are a number of ways you can raise a concern about a BASRaT registrant, details are provided on this page.

Please note that BASRaT can only consider concerns about people registered with us (Graduate and Allied Health Professional members). You can use the register to check to find out whether the person you have concerns about is a registrant.

Other musculoskeletal healthcare professionals are regulated by different bodies:

  • Physiotherapists: Health and Care Professions Council

  • Chiropractors: General Chiropractic Council

  • Osteopaths: General Osteopathic Council

  • Podiatrist - Health and Care Professions Council

There is no body with a recognised regulatory function for Sports Therapists in the UK. There are a number of membership organisations who may be able to offer you support if you have concerns about one of their members, namely: The Society of Sports Therapists, the Sports Therapy Association and the Sports Therapy Organisation.
